THE FOUNDERS

BAjALA started with 3 partners in 2007 joining forces and knowledge to serve a large HSI production to be shot in Los Cabos with George Clooney for a Martini & Rossi commercial. And with such a task to handle the BAjALA team was born. The positive result on these challenging first project made clear they all had a new mission, to make the South Baja bloom in the film and photo production industry. Since then the team has kept growing in size and expertise to better help creatives coming to shoot their projects in the Baja Peninsula.

As a DP with experience in aerial and underwater photography, he has filmed and produced several projects on the Baja, mainland Mexico, The Caribean and  South America.

While travelling all over the Baja Peninsula capturing it’s beauty and discovering secret and unique locations, including best places to eat and have a good time. He has developed a wide network of contacts around Mexico that, combined with his problem solving nature and his creativity and logistical thinking, insure a successful production in Baja, The Mexican Caribean and mainland Mexico.

Diana is a Mexican born in the US. Her career in L.A. as a producer of feature films and commercials brought her to Los Cabos to produce a TV series called Land’s End. She fell in love with the BAJA and has never left. She has extensive experience in Los Cabos. With her creative approach, experience and skill set leaves no detail unattended.
Over the years she has become an oracle for all our team members.

Thom, a self made Mexican, has many years of experience in documentaries, features, TV and commercials. He was Executive Producer at Harmony Pictures, Fahrenheit Films and Plum Productions all of which specialized in challenging, award winning commercials.

As a Baja local Thom loves exploring the Baja, driving up and down the Peninsula from Cabo to LA frequently and escapes to a rustic ranch on the East Cape by the sea. This has gained him lots of experience on the people, places and geography of what the BAJA has to offer.
